Renowned music maestro A. R. Rahman and Burjeel Holdings, a leading superspecialty healthcare services provider in MENA, will present ‘Jamal Al Etihad’, a musical tribute inspired by the values of the UAE, at the Sheikh Zayed Festival on November 29, 2025, at 9:30 pm. ‘Jamal’ is a UAE-born creation that reflects the country’s values of unity, coexistence, resilience, hope, and shared humanity.
Conceptualized by Burjeel Holdings and composed by A.R. Rahman, the song is designed to resonate with both local and international audiences. Its launch at the Sheikh Zayed Festival places it at the center of one of the nation’s most significant cultural events, which brings together visitors from across the country.
At the venue, A.R. Rahman, a two-time Academy Award winner and two-time Grammy Award winner known for music that connects diverse cultures, will unveil ‘Jamal’ live for the first time along with his team. The program will also include music band performances and culturally rooted dance presentations, creating a blend of artistic styles for festival visitors. A three-minute firework display at the festival starting at 10 pm will add a unique experience to the visitors during the show.
The festival is known for its strong connection to national heritage and attracts large crowds who engage deeply with the UAE’s cultural landscape. This positions ‘Jamal’ as a work emerging from the cultural heart of the country during an important period leading up to the 54th National Day.
Omran Al Khoori, Member of the Board of Directors at Burjeel Holdings, said the event carries special meaning to the organization. “Jamal Al Etihad’ is a tribute shaped by the UAE’s values and its spirit of unity. The Sheikh Zayed Festival offers the right stage for sharing this with the public at a time when the nation reflects on its progress and its sense of togetherness,” he said, adding that Burjeel Holdings is proud to support a project that brings communities closer through art and cultural expression.
The performance is expected to be one of the highlights of this year’s festival program. The digital release of ‘Jamal’ will follow through A.R. Rahman’s platforms.
Entry to the concert at Layali Al Wathba Theatre is free for all festival ticket holders. The doors for the show will open at 7:00 PM. Public entry to the festival is priced at just AED 10.
