Kuwaiti edtech Tadarab expands into Saudi Arabia

Edtech platform “Tadarab,” a leader in Arabic online education in the Gulf and Middle East, announces its expansion into Saudi Arabia as part of its strategic plan to meet the growing demand for online education solutions in the region. This expansion reinforces Tadarab’s commitment to providing advanced educational services that meet the needs of learners in the Kingdom, amid the increasing challenges faced by the global and local e-learning sector.

Since its establishment in 2016 by entrepreneurs Zaid Alluhaib and Salma Al-Yassin, Tadarab has been dedicated to offering innovative educational solutions that contribute to the personal and professional development of learners in the Arab world. Over the years, the platform has experienced continuous growth, with 2020 marking a peak in its successes as the COVID-19 pandemic introduced a new reality, increasing reliance on remote education and highlighting Tadarab’s pivotal role in meeting learners’ needs.

Today, Tadarab proudly serves over 300,000 learners on its platform, providing more than 1,000 training courses in various fields, including health, self-development, and family counselling, in collaboration with over 550 trainers from among the experts in the Gulf and Arab world.

Tadarab’s expansion into Saudi Arabia responds to the ambitious Vision 2030, which focuses on developing Saudi competencies through online education and enhancing economic and social development opportunities. Decisions within this vision require companies to train their employees and improve their competencies, as Tadarab offers innovative solutions that help companies meet this obligation. Believing in the importance of investing in Saudi human capital, Tadarab strives to provide educational solutions that suit the Kingdom’s demographic diversity and meet the needs of both individuals and companies alike.

The Saudi market represents a strategic weight in the region’s e-learning sector, making this step a significant milestone in Tadarab’s journey to enhance its presence in the Gulf. The platform is committed to delivering high-quality educational content, employing qualified and experienced trainers from across the Gulf and the Arab world. Despite the significant expansion in online education, the market faces many challenges, notably the lack of trust among some groups in the quality of online education compared to traditional methods. To address these challenges, Tadarab works to improve the quality of its services by bringing together a selection of qualified trainers and developing educational content to ensure a superior learning experience. The platform continues to invest in educational technologies to ensure a smooth and effective experience.

Through its expansion into Saudi Arabia, Tadarab aims to keep up with the needs of the growing online education market in the region and strengthen its leading role in developing competencies and talents. Believing in the importance of online education in achieving sustainable development, the platform will continue to invest in innovative solutions and technologies to provide an exceptional educational experience that meets learners’ aspirations and contributes to achieving the goals of Vision 2030. Tadarab is fully prepared to contribute to building a bright future that relies on digital education to enhance skills and build future generations.
