January takes on a distinctly French flavour as CHOIX at InterContinental Dubai Festival City presents the Galette des Rois, crafted by the legendary three Michelin starred chef Pierre Gagnaire, and available throughout the month.
A seasonal icon of French culinary culture, the Galette des Rois is as much about ritual as it is about indulgence. CHOIX’s interpretation reveals layers of delicately crisp, golden puff pastry wrapped around a smooth, aromatic almond frangipane filling that is rich, refined, and designed for sharing.
Adding to the experience is a playful tradition. Hidden inside the Galette is a small charm known as a fève. The guest lucky enough to discover it in their slice is crowned King or Queen for the day, turning dessert into a moment of celebration and surprise.
