Inspired by the waters and marine life of Abu Dhabi, Vilebrequin unveils its second limited-edition capsule dedicated to the emirate, bringing together the brand’s signature resort style with local biodiversity, heritage and a commitment to marine conservation.
The collection features a curated selection of swimwear and ready-to-wear for men, women and children. Drawing inspiration from the protected shores of Saadiyat Island and the region’s rich underwater ecosystems, fluid patterns and sun-washed tones capture the movement and light of the sea, translating Abu Dhabi’s natural surroundings into distinctive designs.
At the heart of the capsule is Vilebrequin’s iconic turtle motif, reimagined through details inspired by local biodiversity. The collection also builds on Save The Tides, an initiative that invited university students across Abu Dhabi to explore the connection between fashion and marine conservation. The winning design, created by Islay Bayar of New York University Abu Dhabi, forms the foundation of this exclusive capsule, bringing a local perspective to the collection.
More than a celebration of Abu Dhabi’s coastal landscape, the collaboration reflects a shared focus on creativity, environmental awareness and the next generation’s role in shaping a more sustainable future for fashion and ocean conservation.
