We are thrilled to share that the global debut of ‘Flora and Story’ in the Netherlands has officially concluded. By all standards and measures, the event, held between 27 and 29 April, was a resounding, spectacular success!
Co-organized by international wedding planner and designer Nadia Duran and Samar Shawareb of Arabia Weddings, this exclusive 3-day immersive journey brought together planners, florists and flower lovers from around the world for an unmatched floral experience and exquisite gastronomy.
Highlights of the experience included:
- The King’s Day Boat Procession: A high-energy opening celebration along Amsterdam’s iconic canals on a private boat masterfully adorned with over 5,000 premium Voorn spray roses.
- Immersive Educational Masterclass: An intensive educational deep-dive featuring a dynamic hands-on flower arrangement experience, alongside high-level floral and event design, color theory, and specialized floral logistics.
- The Grand Gala Dinner & Gastronomy Experience: A sophisticated dining showcase combining premium world-class gastronomy with exquisite design, a spectacular table setup, breathtaking flower arrangements, and the live serenade of a soulful jazz trio.
- The Tulip Field Experience & Brunch: An unforgettable, breathtaking brunch journey set directly inside the vast, sweeping tulip fields of the Dutch countryside, immersing delegates into the raw beauty of the region’s colorful blooms.
- The Grand Finale at Luminaire: A magnificent closing celebration hosted at the stunning LuminAir Rooftop by Hilton Amsterdam, serving as the ultimate architectural and sensory culmination of our three-day journey.
