The journey into the Downbelow has officially begun. Crema, the studio behind the creature-collection IP Temtem, closed the Kickstarter campaign for Temtem: Pioneers, and the results show a community ready for a new era of creature-collection. The campaign hit its stride early, reaching full funding in a mere eight hours, and eventually finishing at over $600,000 and 580% of its goal with 7127 Backers joining in.
This strong show of support has unlocked 7 Stretch Goals that will bring more depth and color to the open world survival crafting experience. These additions to the game include:
- Additional Biomes: The inclusion of the Crystal and Dark Forest environments
- New Temtem to Hunt: The introduction of Fossil Tems and Auri & Iris variants
- Enhanced Mechanics: An Improved Mount System for more fluid traversal and varieties
- Expanded Gameplay Systems: Custom Game Modes, and a dedicated PVP Playground
While the live campaign has officially ended, the momentum hasn’t stopped. Crema has opened Late Pledges, giving those who missed the live window a chance to get in on the ground floor and support the game as it moves into the next phase of development.
With the project now fully greenlit and scope expanded by its Kickstarter campaign, the focus shifts back into full development mode. Fans looking to follow the progress can follow and add Temtem: Pioneers to their wishlists on Steam® and the Epic Games Store® to stay updated on every new discovery waiting to be found in the Downbelow.
