Platinum-selling Haitian DJ and producer Francis Mercier brought his global movement Solèy to Dubai on Sunday, April 19th, with the happening of Solèy FC Dubai, a charity-driven event uniting music, sport, and community for a meaningful cause.
Taking place at Ballers Dubai, the event supported the Lebanese Red Cross through a $20,000 donation, alongside additional contributions from participating players. Funds will go toward urgent medical aid and critical relief efforts for communities impacted in Lebanon.
Rooted in cultural connection and collective impact, Solèy FC Dubai reflects Mercier’s commitment to using his platform beyond music. Lebanon holds a deep personal significance for the artist, having been one of the first countries to champion his sound and support his rise on the global stage.
“Through Solèy, I aim to create moments that go beyond music; bringing communities together across cultures to be a force for positive humanitarian impact,” said Francis Mercier.
Marking the first official philanthropic edition of Solèy FC, the Dubai event builds on previous matches in Miami and St. Martin, evolving into a platform that merges entertainment with purpose. It also continues Mercier’s ongoing support for humanitarian initiatives in Lebanon.
The experience will extend beyond the pitch, with a special public pop-up DJ set in Dubai today, offering an immersive open-air celebration of music and culture, and spotlighting his upcoming release “Inshallah.”
With over 500 million streams, global festival appearances including Coachella, Tomorrowland, and Ushuaïa Ibiza, and a rapidly expanding international presence, Francis Mercier continues to merge sound, community, and purpose; demonstrating the power of music as a catalyst for meaningful change.
