Nearly two decades into his career, Ashour reached a new peak with “Haygely Mawgow,” a breakthrough smash that dominated streaming platforms, ignited live audiences and earned Song of the Year at the 2024 Billboard Arabic Music Awards—cementing his status as a defining artist of his era.
JEDDAH E-PRIX
The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship will return to Saudi Arabia for the second year in Jeddah for Rounds 4 and 5 of Season 12. The double-header night races are scheduled to be held on February 13-14, 2026, at the record-breaking Jeddah Corniche Circuit. The world’s fastest street track is currently the only venue on the Formula E calendar to hold a race under the floodlights, adding to the immersive spectacle fans can expect in Jeddah in April.
The move from Diriyah to Jeddah in 2025 proved to be a major success for FE’s showpiece race in Saudi Arabia, with last year’s double header becoming the most-watched Formula E weekend in history, smashing records with 65 million global cumulative viewers.
The Jeddah E-Prix weekend delivered non-stop drama with the action going right down to the wire on the first night. Twenty-four hours later, Rowland turned the tables, charging to victory on Sunday ahead of Barnard and Jake Hughes, then driving for Maserati, to close out an electric weekend of racing by the Red Sea.
