InnerG, a UAE homegrown fitness studio co-founded by Rafif Tarek Alhassen, has opened its first location at Space42 Arena in Abu Dhabi. Guided by its philosophy of Energy in Motion, InnerG brings multiple disciplines together under one roof, creating a community built around choice, connection and different ways to move.
“With InnerG, we wanted to create a community where there is something for everyone—where people can come together and experience movement in a way that feels personal to them,” says Rafif Tarek Alhassen, Co-Founder of InnerG. “It isn’t about defining one way to move; it’s about giving people different ways to move, connect and grow, all within one community.”
Opening during the UAE’s Year of Family, this vision takes on particular significance. InnerG has been designed to make movement easier to integrate into everyday family life. With adult and children’s programming designed to run side by side, parents and children can move at the same time, each in their own way, while remaining part of a shared experience.
InnerG’s program spans Reformer Pilates, yoga, mat Pilates, dance, HIIT, boxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, mobility, stretching, breathwork, sound healing and strength-based training, led by specialized instructors. These experiences are organized around four pillars: Groove, Glow, Grit and Growth. Groove represents dance and creative expression; Glow brings together mindful movement and well-being; Grit is rooted in combat, discipline and resilience; and Growth centers on Reformer Pilates. Together, they bring Energy in Motion to life through distinct approaches to movement.
For Isabella Brandstotter, Head of Operations, translating that philosophy into the member experience has been central to developing InnerG. “From the studio environment and class experience to the smallest operational details, our goal has been to create a space where people feel genuinely welcomed and supported. We want every visit to reflect the sense of community that defines InnerG.”
The InnerG experience also extends beyond movement through Omni, an independent specialty coffee brand founded by Rafif Tarek Alhassen. At its core, Omni is about quality coffee, approached with intention. Quality and consistency guide everything from sourcing to preparation, with a rotating selection of coffees and roasters from around the world chosen for their distinct profiles. Alongside specialty coffee, Omni serves ceremonial matcha and functional smoothies made with clean ingredients, each created to serve a purpose.
With its first studio now open in Abu Dhabi, InnerG is creating a community where different generations can move, connect and grow together.
