To celebrate the launch of Moderniste and the campaign starring Maison Ambassador Julianne Moore, Messika hosted a cocktail at Chateau ZZ in Miami.
Chateau ZZ cuts a singular figure. Built in 1931 by Martin L. Hampton, French in inspiration, the estate is defined by twin octagonal towers, geometry that Moderniste carries into jewelry. Miami itself, a city at the forefront of contemporary art, offered a vivid contrast to the venue’s composure, tension that lies at the heart of Moderniste.
Born of contemporary architecture, the collection holds gold to the standard of the diamond, sculpted and faceted across every surface: circle and square, polished, and brushed, refraction at every angle.
The evening layered its registers
Upstairs, the cinema room hosted a screening of the campaign film, directed by Ezra Petronio and Valérie Messika. Downstairs, the restaurant’s lush surroundings framed an exhibition of ten pieces from Terres d’Instinct, Messika’s high jewelry collection. DJ Hugo Milochevitch gave the night its beat.
Among the guests were friends of the Maison, Julianne Moore, joined by her daughter Liv Freundlich, Helena Christensen, Candice Swanepoel, Karolina Kurkova, Gunna, Romain Grosjean, Oliver Muhl and Camila Coelho.
“Tonight, in Miami, we celebrate more than a collection, Modernist marks a new chapter in my creative journey, a true expression of maturity and vision. Having Julianne Moore with us to embody this spirit makes this moment even more meaningful. She represents a powerful, authentic femininity that resonates deeply with everything Messika stands for.” Valérie Messika.
