With fatty liver disease becoming increasingly common and often showing no symptoms in its early stages, Medcare Hospital Al Safa is encouraging residents to take a proactive approach to their liver health through its Fatty Liver Screening Campaign, running from 24 July to 21 August 2026.
As part of the campaign, eligible patients can receive a complimentary Liver FibroScan and express consultation, valued at AED 2,000, with Medcare’s Gastroenterology specialists:

The screening evaluates liver fat and liver stiffness (fibrosis), helping identify early signs of liver damage before symptoms appear. It is recommended for individuals with fatty liver, diabetes, excess weight, high cholesterol, high blood pressure or chronic liver disease.
