Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf has appointed Hamid Raddawi as Executive Chef, overseeing culinary operations across Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf and Marriott Executive Apartments Al Jaddaf.
With 18 years of experience in luxury hospitality, Chef Hamid brings a strong background in international cuisine, large-scale banqueting and multi-outlet kitchen operations.
In his new role, he will lead the hotel’s culinary teams across restaurants, in-room dining and events, with a focus on consistency, well-balanced flavours and a considered approach to menu development.
Over the course of his career, Chef Hamid has worked across seven Marriott International brands, contributing to both pre-opening projects and established properties. Prior to joining Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf, he served as Executive Sous Chef at a five-star lifestyle resort, where he oversaw multiple dining venues and led a team of more than 100 culinary and stewarding professionals.
He has also been involved in several notable pre-openings, including Four Seasons Damascus, Courtyard by Marriott Dubai, JW Marriott Marquis and Lapita, Autograph Collection. His experience spans Arabic, Pan-Asian and Italian cuisines, as well as cold kitchen and banquet operations.
Saad Al Ghamdi, Multi-Property General Manager at Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf and Marriott Executive Apartments Al Jaddaf, said: “Chef Hamid joins us at an important time for the hotel as we continue to refine and strengthen our culinary offering across both properties. With a diverse mix of guests, from business travellers to long-stay residents, our kitchens play a central role in shaping the overall experience. His background across large-scale operations and multiple cuisines brings the level of structure, consistency and creativity needed to support this next phase.”
The hotel’s culinary offering includes concepts such as The Market Place and TerraMar, alongside in-room dining and a strong focus on events and banqueting, all of which now fall under Chef Hamid’s direction.
