This Christmas, Lebanon is invited to step into a world where stories come alive and wishes find their way home. The Enchanted Storyteller of Christmas, a spectacular new family musical by Lara Rain, will illuminate the stage of Casino du Liban for five unforgettable nights, from December 26 to 30 with a heartwarming tale about hope, dreams, and the light we carry within.
The story unfolds in an orphanage where little girls long for a Christmas to remember.
When the youngest wishes upon a shooting star, an Enchanted Storyteller appears, ready to create a story just for them. She brings their favourite book characters to life, opening the doors to a magical Christmas Village filled with music and wonder, dazzling costumes and spirited dance numbers.
But not everything in this magical world is joyful
Some characters have lost faith in Christmas because their wishes remain unfulfilled. Determined to understand why, the children and the Storyteller embark on an adventure to meet Santa Claus himself.
Through an inspiring journey to the North Pole, they will discover that the greatest gifts aren’t found under a tree… they are already within reach if only we open our hearts.
Featuring more than 30 performers of all ages and nationalities, dazzling visuals, original music, and the joy of seeing beloved storybook characters on stage, TheEnchanted Storyteller of Christmas blends stunning visuals, powerful vocals, and theatrical spectacle to create a holiday experience for all ages.
“This show was born out of a difficult moment,” says creator Lara Rain.
“Lebanon has endured so much, and I wanted to give our children a moment of pure magic; a reminder that hope is still possible, that light still appears when we dare to wish for it.”

About Lara Rain
Lara Rain is a musical theatre producer, writer, and creator dedicated to crafting meaningful, imaginative experiences for children and families. Her work blends storytelling, music, and emotional depth, inviting audiences back into the magic they once believed in, and still can.
Before creating for the stage, Lara built a successful career as a film actress and singer, performing with Ziad Rahbani for 18 years and starring in the award-winning feature film Ghadi alongside Georges Khabbaz.
She is also the daughter of Ton Amie Liliane, the beloved pioneer of children’s theatre and television in Lebanon. Growing up immersed in her mother’s world of plays, stories,
and imagination, Lara developed a deep love for the stage… a legacy she now continues with her own creative work.
