Beirut, Lebanon LAU Medical Center–Rizk Hospital and the Beirut Bar Association (BBA) held an official signing ceremony on September 18 to formalize a healthcare partnership aimed at providing enhanced medical care and services to BBA lawyers and their families. The agreement, signed during the ceremony, builds on an existing collaboration between the two institutions, through which LAU Medical Center–Rizk Hospital physicians have been supporting the BBA Health Center and providing medical care to its members. The new agreement expands this collaboration into a broader partnership with the Medical Center.
Commenting on the partnership, the President of LAU, Dr. Chaouki T. Abdallah said: “Law and medicine share a fundamental value: the human being. Both are professions of responsibility and service, where knowledge finds its true purpose when placed at the service of others. This partnership allows us to bring LAU Medical Center–Rizk Hospital’s expertise to the BBA Health Center and strengthen our commitment to the health and wellbeing of lawyers and their families.”
Through this agreement, LAU Medical Center–Rizk Hospital and the Beirut Bar Association will continue to work together to facilitate access to quality healthcare services for BBA lawyers and their families, reflecting a shared commitment to supporting the health and wellbeing of the legal community.
On the occasion, Maitre Imad Martinos, President of the Beirut Bar Association said: “This partnership aims to ensure more comprehensive and higher-quality healthcare for lawyers and their families, while benefiting from the specialized academic and medical expertise of LAU Medical Center–Rizk Hospital.”
This alliance also provides a framework for further collaboration between the two institutions, with opportunities to expand the range of medical specialties and expertise available to the BBA Health Center and its members.
