A major star throughout the Middle East and the Arab world, Hiba Tawaji is regarded as one of the finest voices of her generation and quickly won over French audiences. In 2017, she became the first woman to perform publicly in Saudi Arabia — a powerful symbol of her commitment.
On December 7, 2024, she took part in the historic reopening ceremony of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, performing with the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Gustavo Dudamel, in front of millions of viewers worldwide. A few months earlier, she gave her first major concert in France at the prestigious Olympia, joined by exceptional guests including Florent Pagny, Lara Fabian, Matthieu Chedid, Ycare and Madame Monsieur. Among her most prestigious collaborations are those with Andrea Bocelli and the renowned American vocal group Pentatonix, with whom she appeared on their latest Grammy-nominated album.
Ibrahim Maalouf is one of the few French artists to have received Grammy Award nominations in two consecutive years. A true virtuoso, he has collaborated over the past twenty years with some of the world’s leading artists, including Toumani Diabaté, Sting, Angélique Kidjo, A$AP Rocky, Josh Groban, De La Soul, the Orchestre National de France, Juliette Gréco, Sharon Stone, Matthieu Chedid and Monica Bellucci. These collaborations, as prestigious as they are diverse, have made him a unique figure on today’s cultural and musical scene. Used to filling the world’s greatest venues, his 2017 meeting with Quincy Jones, who became his manager in the United States, proved decisive.
As he celebrates twenty years of his career, Ibrahim Maalouf is preparing to make history with what is set to be the largest instrumental jazz concert ever staged, on April 10, 2027, at Plenitude Arena.
