As part of the commitment of public and private sector institutions to supporting national initiatives with sustainable social impact, a leading financial institution in Abu Dhabi has contributed AED 10 million in support of the Mother of the Nation Endowment for Orphans initiative, launched by the Endowments and Minors’ Funds Authority – Awqaf Abu Dhabi under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
The contribution aims to support the initiative’s objective of establishing a sustainable endowment funding source dedicated to orphan care, ensuring them a more stable future and enhancing their quality of life.
Through an approved endowment mechanism, the initiative contributions are invested to generate long-term returns dedicated to supporting orphans across education, healthcare, dignified living, and other essential care needs, reinforcing endowment as an effective and sustainable development tool.
