Saur, a global pure-play water services company, has highlighted the critical role of resilient water infrastructure in supporting Qatar’s sustainability ambitions and the Gulf’s long-term urban development objectives during Project Qatar 2026.
During the event, Saur showcased its expertise across the entire water cycle, highlighting innovative and sustainable solutions in smart water management, infrastructure operations and maintenance, wastewater treatment, water reuse, and digital technologies that enhance operational performance and resource sustainability. The company further highlighted its expanding presence in Qatar, where it collaborates with public-sector stakeholders on critical water and wastewater infrastructure projects, supporting the development of resilient and future-ready water systems.
The participation is in line with Saur’s continuous efforts to strengthen its footprint in the country through its ongoing collaboration with the Public Works Authority (Ashghal). Earlier this year, the company commenced the operational phase of wastewater services under Ashghal’s partnership framework, supporting wastewater treatment and network operations across the catchment zone in Qatar South. Drawing on its established operational experience in the country, Saur delivers reliable and sustainable wastewater services while contributing to the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030 and the country’s broader sustainability agenda.
At Project Qatar 2026, Saur showcased its capabilities in digital technologies, predictive maintenance, and advanced operational practices aimed at optimising infrastructure performance, improving service continuity, and enhancing resource efficiency. The company further emphasised the role of circular water management, including wastewater reuse, in strengthening long-term water security and reducing dependence on freshwater resources.
