The artist EDE presents AQUA with a performance based on suminagashi, the Japanese technique of floating ink that inspires the collection. ‘We have conducted research with electronic devices that convert an electrical signal into a musical signal through touch. This creates a closed circuit with my body as the conductor, and a musical signal is passed through it, which I sing to,’ explains the artist. The result is a sensory experience in which water is transformed into music. A collection that can be seen, heard, and felt.
AQUA has its origins in the Agora Creative Laboratory, which includes all the designers from the Adolfo Dominguez group.
