Ti22 Films, the award-winning regional production house, is set to debut Ditch The Silver, a new 10-part culinary adventure series launching on 7th December on OSN and OSN+. In partnership with OSN and presented by ‘Dubai Eats’ – a social media platform of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), part of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET). The food series takes viewers beyond Dubai’s glittering skyline and into the authentic, flavour-rich streets of the city and surrounding Emirates.
The concept for Ditch The Silver first took shape just over a year ago when host Arva Ahmed, Founder of Frying Pan Adventures, attended one of Ti22 Films’ signature creative bootcamps. Originally launched as a YouTube series, the idea quickly gained traction and, in just over a year, has now reached mainstream audiences through OSN and OSN+.
Hosted by Arva, the series uncovers the UAE’s lesser-known eateries, neighbourhood institutions, and the cultural communities behind them. Each 24-minute episode brings forward untold stories of heritage, resilience, and identity through food, offering a refreshing contrast to the city’s usual fine-dining spotlight.
