As the Holy Month approaches, Yas Bay Waterfront invites guests from February 19thonwards to embrace the spirit of Ramadan through a thoughtfully curated programme of cultural, wellness and family-friendly experiences. Set against the scenic backdrop of the waterfront, this year’s line-up offers moments of reflection, connection and celebration for guests of all ages, from traditional flavours and live performances to mindful wellness sessions and children’s entertainment.
Flavours of Ramadan
Visitors can savour the Flavours of Ramadan capturing the essence of the season with a relaxed evening stroll while enjoying complimentary tastings of signature Ramadan beverages. Served daily from 8pm till 11pm along the waterfront by friendly hosts; guests are invited to enjoy refreshing classics and time-honoured regional beverages such as Jallab from the Levant region, Moroccan tea, Gahwa from the Arabian Peninsula and Egyptian Karkade (hibiscus tea).
Sounds of Ramadan
Adding to the evening ambience, Sounds of Ramadan will showcase emerging homegrown musicians and instrumentalists, bringing the pier promenade to life with a mix of themed melodies and gentle rhythms. Taking place every weekend from Friday to Sunday, between 8pm and 11pm, guests are invited to unwind by the waterfront and soak in the atmosphere.
Ramadan Reset with Warehouse Gym
For those seeking balance and rejuvenation, Ramadan Reset with Warehouse Gym offers daily complimentary wellness sessions at Etihad Arena plaza from 4:30pm to 5:30pm. These pre-iftar sessions are designed to encourage mindful movement, stretching and relaxation, giving the community an opportunity to pause, recharge and reconnect ahead of breaking their fast. Strength and conditioning sessions focused on bodyweight training will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, while Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays will centre on stretching for flexibility and mobility.
Led by professional trainers, the initiative promotes wellbeing and togetherness throughout the month. The sessions are open for people of all ages and at fitness levels can join with personal mats and towels for comfort while working out.
Peaksy Play Zone
Families can also look forward to dedicated children’s programming at the Peaksy Play Zone, running daily from 8pm to 10pm at Etihad Arena plaza. Hosted by the newly opened family entertainment destination Peaksy, the pop-up play zone will feature classic games and interactive challenges, from balloon fun and hula hoops to tug-of-war and an appearance from Peaksy’s mascot, Mish Mish the Bear. The activation creates a lively, safe space for children to play every evening along the waterfront.
