Lacoste proudly announces its participation in the SMK Tennis Tournament 2025, one of the UAE’s most anticipated private sporting events. Founded in 2009 by Sheikha Shaikha bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, the tournament was inspired by her passion for tennis and her wish to share the sport with women across the United Arab Emirates. The event is hosted under the esteemed Patronage of Sheikha Mariam bint Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Over the years, the SMK Tennis Tournament has become a symbol of elegance, athleticism, and community, bringing together hundreds of Emirati women and supported by leading luxury brands.
Le Club Lacoste: A Tribute to Tennis and Timeless Style
For this year’s edition, Lacoste unveiled the “Le Club Lacoste” pop up boutique, an immersive space that embodies the brand’s authentic tennis heritage and modern French sophistication. Adjacent to the space, guests enjoyed a curated matcha and coffee bar, creating a refined setting to relax and socialize during the tournament.
The Lacoste pop-up featured a curated selection of high-end pieces that represent the core DNA of the brand. This included premium Lacoste Sport tennis wear, timeless polo shirts, and exclusive FW25 fashion show pieces. Guests also discovered the brand’s latest icon, the Lenglen Bag, inspired by the effortless elegance of tennis legend Suzanne Lenglen.
To further enhance the experience, Lacoste introduced a customization station where visitors can personalize select merchandise to bring together the brand’s spirit of individuality and innovation.
    Championing Tennis and Women’s Empowerment
Reinforcing its deep-rooted connection to tennis, Lacoste served as a court sponsor, bringing the brand’s distinctive elegance to the tournament environment through dedicated court branding and design.
In recognition of excellence and performance, Lacoste also presented exclusive gifts to the winners of both the singles and doubles tournaments, honoring their achievements with bespoke prizes that embody the brand’s legacy of sport and sophistication.
Further emphasizing its commitment to women’s empowerment and social impact, Lacoste joins SMK and the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) to host a private tennis clinic, providing an inspiring platform for skill development and connection through sport.
The brand additionally co-hosted the prestigious SMK Gala Dinner to raise funds supporting women—uniting purpose, philanthropy, and the spirit of community.
Empowering Women Through the Spirit of Tennis and Style
As a tennis brand first, Lacoste’s participation in the SMK Tennis Tournament is a natural extension of its heritage and mission. Through its presence at SMK 2025, Lacoste continues to celebrate the sport that defines its DNA—bridging athletic excellence with timeless elegance, and reinforcing its commitment to empowering women in the UAE and beyond.
