The official cheque handover took place at Tawfeer’s headquarters in Sin El Fil. The ceremony was attended by Tawfeer Chairman and CEO Rami Bitar, LBCF President Mrs. Mirna Sabbah Hoballah, representatives from the collaborating suppliers and partners, Tawfeer employees, and members of the local media.
During his address, Tawfeer Chairman and CEO Rami Bitar reaffirmed the company’s deep-rooted commitment to community wellbeing: “At Tawfeer, we believe that supporting our community is not a seasonal act; it is part of who we are. This substantial amount raised throughout the campaign reflects the power of collective giving and the compassion of our customers and partners. We are proud to stand with the Lebanese Breast Cancer Foundation in their mission to ensure that every woman has access to awareness, early detection, and essential treatment”.
The fundraising campaign ran throughout the month of October 2025, successfully mobilizing community support. Tawfeer branches encouraged customers to donate at checkout counters, while supplier partners pledged a portion of product sales to the cause. In parallel, Tawfeer also supported the LBCF telethon broadcast on MTV Lebanon, contributing $30,000 to the overall amount raised for the campaign.
Expressing her appreciation for the partnership, Mrs. Mirna Sabbah Hoballah, President of LBCF, stated: “This generous donation from Tawfeer will directly support our mission to save lives through vital awareness, screening, and treatment support programs. Partnerships like this strengthen our ability to reach more women across Lebanon and ensure they receive the care they deserve. We deeply appreciate Tawfeer’s commitment and the kindness shown by their entire community”.
The ceremony concluded with the official presentation of the cheque, followed by a group photo and a networking reception.
This campaign is a core example of Tawfeer’s deeply held commitment to community wellbeing and corporate responsibility. For the company, social engagement is not a one-time initiative but a fundamental pillar of its operating philosophy. The support of LBCF reinforces Tawfeer’s ongoing dedication to the health and prosperity of the communities it serves, ensuring that its business success is tied to the social development of Lebanon.
