Emirati Children’s Day is an annual occasion on which the UAE, through its institutions and all segments of the society, reaffirms its steadfast commitment to empowering children and safeguarding their rights. It reflects the nation’s holistic approach, guided by the vision of our wise leadership, which places people at the heart of sustainable development. This ensures that children are supported by strong institutions, a cohesive society, and an engaged community.
The UAE’s advanced legislative system has been instrumental in creating a supportive environment that enables children to grow, thrive, and realise their aspirations. It safeguards their rights to education, care, and safety, while fostering a spirit of innovation and creativity among children, empowering them to actively participate in building the UAE’s future and strengthening its global leadership role.
On this occasion, we at the Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai (SLC), reaffirm our unwavering commitment to supporting the UAE’s prudent approach by providing children with all forms of support and means of empowerment, in line with the nation’s broader goals of enhancing quality of life, strengthening family cohesion, and promoting social solidarity.
We also reaffirm our resolve to continue fostering a legislative and societal culture that promotes awareness of children’s rights and contributes to the development of a confident and creative generation capable of contributing to the UAE’s sustainable development.
