The Sheikh Saeed Bin Zayed Endowment has contributed AED 3 million in support of the “Mother of the Nation Endowment for Orphans” initiative, launched by the Endowments and Minors’ Funds Authority – Awqaf Abu Dhabi under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, with the aim of establishing a sustainable endowment funding source dedicated to orphan care across the country.
The contribution comes as part of supporting national initiatives with lasting social impact and reflects a strong commitment to reinforcing the values of solidarity and compassion that define UAE society. This initiative further advances the objectives of the “Mother of the Nation Endowment for Orphans” initiative, which seeks to convert community contributions into sustainable endowment returns invested through an approved endowment mechanism. This ensures continued support for orphans across key areas including education, healthcare, dignified living, and other essential care needs.
